Job description

Position Summary

Security secures premises of property by patrolling, monitoring surveillance equipment, access points and permitting entry. Provides direction during emergency situations and helps maintain a safe and secure environment. Must follow all safety policies and procedures and enforce program policies and procedures. The use of walkie-talkies, desk phone or cell phones to stay in contact with other security staff and/or work therapy clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Executes security measures for the safety of the organization.
• Respond to alarms and emergency situations.
• Guard and monitor premises to prevent theft, property destruction, violence or rules and safety violations.
• Call 911 or aid if necessary.
• Monitor Cameras.
• Monitor entrance of property.
• Walk the campus to maintain security.
• Ability to follow instruction from supervisor.
• Follow all policies and procedures.
• Enforce program policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by the Operations Director and/or President/CEO
