Job summary

MUFG is seeking an Associate/VP in the Securitized Products Group in New York to originate and execute warehouse and term ABS transactions across auto, credit cards, equipment, student loans and other asset classes. The role involves coordinating with risk, syndicate, sales and trading teams and with external parties to close transactions.

Responsibilities include developing materials, analyzing portfolios and data, maintaining client relationships, and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• Minimum of 5 years related ABS work experience.
• Expert understanding of ABS transaction structures and processes.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to learn new asset classes quickly and take ownership of projects.

Responsibilities

• Support the deal team in originating and executing warehouse and term ABS transactions, including analysis and execution.
• Develop pitch book materials to support transaction pipeline.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and third parties to execute transactions.
• Aid senior team members in client relationship development and detailed analyses.
• Oversee and train analysts and associates to complete pitches and transactions.
• Liaise with credit risk, syndicate, sales and trading, legal, accounting, rating agencies and investors.
• Participate in special assignments and projects as required.
