Job summary

Citigroup is seeking an Associate in Asset-Backed Securitization & Financing (ABS&F) to work on structured finance deals across various asset classes. The role involves developing materials, analyzing transactions, and coordinating with issuers, lawyers, and accountants.

The candidate will review models, prepare analytics, and support the sales and syndication process, while mentoring junior colleagues and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience working with ABS transactions
• Ability to lead lending and ABS structuring transactions
• Capacity to coordinate and develop junior professionals
• Detail-oriented, organized and able to work as part of a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong quantitative skills; familiarity with Microsoft Excel required
• Experience working with large data sets
• Series 79, 7 and 63 licenses

Responsibilities

• Develop rating agency materials and presentations to support the transaction's ratings
• Review structuring models and prepare transaction analytics
• Work with transaction parties (issuer, lawyers and accountants) to develop offering documents
• Develop materials for the sales and syndication process
• Respond to investor inquiries and aggregate investor feedback
• Lead or participate in client discussions and analyze market trends
