Job summary

Guggenheim Securities, the investment banking division of Guggenheim Partners, is seeking an analyst to join its Structured Products Origination (SPO) team in New York. This role focuses on securitization across multiple asset classes, including non-traditional assets, and involves modeling, marketing materials, and data analysis.

The candidate should have at least two years of relevant experience, strong quantitative skills, and proficiency in Excel with VBA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• At least two years of experience as an analyst in a structured products or related group at a financial institution, top-tier firm or rating agency.
• Experience with cash flow modeling of ABS, CLO or other securitized products required.
• Strong quantitative skills; Microsoft Excel modeling experience required, familiarity with VBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support deal team in all aspects of securitization transactions across a variety of asset classes.
• Help prepare marketing presentations, term sheets and rating agency materials.
• Develop securitization cash flow models and perform portfolio and historical data analysis for various types of assets.
• Conduct market research and industry review projects for new asset classes.
• Develop and maintain databases and automated tools used by the team to track information such as transaction pricings, investor participation, etc.
