U.S. Bank in Saint Paul, MN, is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the Transfers and Bond of Indemnity team within Global Corporate Trust Paying & Transfer Agent Operations.

You will manage approximately eight specialists across St. Paul and Cincinnati, overseeing transfers, bond of indemnity requests, and compliance with laws and client requirements. This role requires leadership, structured oversight, and collaboration with internal partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Typically five or more years of relevant operations experience.
• Experience in corporate trust or transfer agent operations.
• Knowledge of securities transfers and lost-security processing.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop specialists and team leads; manage day-to-day personnel.
• Balance workloads and cross-train staff to ensure coverage.
• Oversee physical and electronic transfers and documentation.
• Manage Bond of Indemnity requests for lost, stolen, or destroyed securities.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness per procedures and SLAs.
• Monitor inventory, aging, quality, and escalations.
• Collaborate with internal/external partners to resolve issues.
• Support audits, regulatory reviews, and business continuity.
