Ascendo Resources seeks a Securities & Trade Operations Specialist to join our back-office team. You will process, settle, and reconcile securities, FX, money market, and derivatives transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely settlements.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in securities operations within banks or broker-dealers, with strong cash management and reconciliation skills. This role supports ongoing operations and process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in securities operations or banking back-office roles.
• Experience processing equities, fixed income, funds, or options.
• Knowledge of FX, money markets, NDFs and interest rate swaps.
• Experience with SWIFT or Fedwire payments.

Responsibilities

• Process and support securities transactions including equities and fixed income.
• Handle FX, money market and derivative transactions and ensure timely settlement.
• Perform reconciliations of cash, securities, and custody accounts and resolve breaks.
• Coordinate with custodians and banks to resolve settlement issues.
• Maintain transaction records and support audits and process improvements.
