Job summary

Apex Fintech Solutions is seeking a Securities Lending Analyst to support the daily operations of the securities lending desk. You will monitor loan activity, recalls, buy-ins, reconciliations, and billing support, acting as a liaison with brokers and internal teams to ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business Administration.
• SIE license or will have within 3 months of hire date.
• Must be detail-oriented.
• Displays a relentless focus on customer service and customer satisfaction.
• Holds self accountable for high personal and professional standards.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities/tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must be very analytical with the ability to develop understanding of finance and the Securities Lending business.
• Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Issues recalls to cover deficits and fails to deliver.
• Approves customer short sales request pursuant to regulatory requirements.
• Checks incoming security needs list for various brokers and lends the securities appropriately.
• Performs stock loan buy-ins on securities that are on loan and not returned.
• Borrows securities from different broker/dealers as needed to cover internal needs.
• Performs daily reconciliations for various stock loan accounts.
• Assists with the end of month billing process with broker/dealers and correspondents.
• Provides support to correspondents inquiring about locates, hard to borrow charges, and buy in concerns.
