Job summary

Citi is seeking a Securities & Derivatives Associate Analyst in a developing professional role focused on monitoring and evaluating processes and data in treasury operations. You will gain exposure to securities clearance, settlement, and derivative operations while supporting traders and control activities across teams.

The role emphasizes analytical skills, adherence to policies, and progressive responsibility within an integrated banking environment.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in Treasury Operations or Middle Office
• Good understanding of Treasury products, accounting and regulatory policies
• Ability to work in a structured, high volume, time sensitive, high risk and demanding environment
• Good analytical skills and positive attitude
• Knowledge of Macros

Responsibilities

• Securities transaction processing execution
• Typically related to Securities Clearance Settlement and Derivative Operations
• Provide analytic support to traders and review derivative products
• Support an expansive and diverse array of products/services
• Identify problems in securities and derivatives settlement and investigate solutions
• Deliver reports to satisfy management requirements and support control activities
• Assist in implementing process improvements
• Minimize risk by adhering to audit and control policies
• Escalate requests, inquiries, issues, errors promptly
• Demonstrate understanding of products and related duties within the team and related teams
• Demonstrate knowledge of bank systems and interact with stakeholders
