Job summary

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in Treasury Operations or Middle Office.
• Good understanding of Treasury products, accounting and regulatory policies.
• Ability to work in a structured, high volume, time sensitive, high risk and demanding environment.
• Good analytical skills and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Execute securities transaction processing.
• Support Securities Clearance Settlement and Derivative Operations.
• Provide analytic support to traders and review derivative products.
• Support an expansive and diverse range of products/services.
• Follow procedures to identify problems in securities and derivatives settlement needing investigation or research.
• Assist in resolving problems by applying technical experience guided by precedents.
• Prepare reports to satisfy management requirements and support control activities.
• Assist in implementing process improvements.
• Minimize risk by adhering to audit and control policies and monitoring errors across systems.
• Timely management and escalation of requests, inquiries, issues and errors.
• Demonstrate understanding of products, processes, and team interactions.
• Demonstrate knowledge of bank-related systems.
• Communicate with colleagues and stakeholders, handling sensitive information with diplomacy and awareness of audience diversity.
• Assess risk when making business decisions, safeguarding Citi and assets, and escalate/report control issues transparently.
