Job summary

Citigroup Inc. in Tampa, FL is seeking an entry-level Security Derivatives Intermediate Associate Analyst to support processing orders and transactions from trading desks and branches, in coordination with Operations - Transaction Services.

You will assist with clearance, settlement, investigations of client securities and derivatives, analyze hedge funds, contribute to reporting, and help implement processing improvements while upholding risk and compliance.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Settlements in Securities is a plus.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process orders and transactions from trading desks and branches.
• Assist with clearance, settlement and investigation of client securities and derivatives.
• Analyze hedge funds and counterparty activities.
• Support creation of customized reporting for management.
• Help implement securities processing improvements.
• Identify policy gaps and formulate policies to streamline work processes.
• Review hedge fund activities, cash/holdings, and pricing procedures.
• Provide guidance to junior staff and escalate/control issues with transparency.
