Job summary

ThinkTek LLC in the National Capital Region seeks a Systems Engineer to support a Department of War client, deploying a secure wireless capability across hardware and software for a classified network.

The role involves hands-on configuration, integration, and testing, coordinating with government stakeholders and the NSA CSfC Program Management Office to ensure accreditation and secure operations.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Active Secret security clearance.
• DoD 8140 IAT Level II baseline certification (Security+ CE) or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• 2–4 years of systems, network engineering, or IT infrastructure experience in DoD or Federal environments.
• Working knowledge of network fundamentals and DISA STIGs.
• Exposure to RMF/ATO processes.
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Configure, integrate, and test network and security infrastructure in a classified environment.
• Coordinate deployment activities and integrate into the existing network.
• Support RMF/ATO, NSA CSfC registration, and related documentation.
• Produce network diagrams, test plans, and as-built records.
• Collaborate with vendors, engineers, and government stakeholders.
