Job summary

QBE Federal is seeking a VTC Engineer to design, administer, and sustain enterprise VTC infrastructure for DoW agencies across NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and JWICS, including secure VTC room integrations.

You will manage bridges and management platforms, perform Tier II/III engineering, ensure STIG/RMF readiness, and lead site surveys and installation projects, onsite at FT Jackson, SC with up to 15% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of related experience; 4 additional years may substitute for the degree.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Active Top Secret Clearance to start; TS/SCI eligibility possible later.
• Within investigation scope / Continuous Evaluation.
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level I baseline certification required.
• Experience with enterprise AV/VTC systems in conference rooms/classrooms.
• Hands-on with Cisco/Poly VTC endpoints and CUCM/Expressway/Webex/Zoom room systems.
• Understanding of IP networking for VTC (SIP/H.323, QoS) and troubleshooting.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and travel up to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, administer, and maintain VTC infrastructure across enclaves: bridges, conferencing servers, and scheduling platforms.
• Administer UC infrastructure (CUCM, Unity, Expressway, gateways, SBCs) across security enclaves.
• Provide Tier II/III engineering resolution for VTC and voice incidents; analyze traces and call data.
• Maintain VTC Service Readiness to PRS uptime/availability standard.
• Lead site surveys and VTC room designs; produce installation plans for Government approval.
• Design, plan, and lead installation, configuration, and testing of new equipment; coordinate with teams.
• Own STIG/SRG compliance, firmware baselines, RMF/ATO evidence in eMASS; support secure VTC on SIPRNet/JWICS.
