Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Development Manager for SMS Solutions within the DT – SDI group. The role focuses on leading a team of experienced systems developers to deliver secure, automated, and compliant solutions across multiple programs and environments.

Requirements include a university degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, RMF/NIST knowledge, and an active U.S. government clearance. The position is hybrid with travel to MA/RI sites and multiple remote options in the Northeast US.

Qualifications

• University degree with 5+ years of relevant experience; advanced degree acceptable.
• Experience leading technical professionals across programs.
• Experience in systems design, IT infrastructures, cyber compliance, automation, or secure integration.
• Experience with RMF/NIST 800-53 cybersecurity standards and programs.
• Active and transferable U.S. government security clearance and U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of experienced systems developers, setting objectives and guiding secure, automated solutions.
• Contribute to solution design, requirements analysis, and technical development across program environments.
• Implement operational plans aligning with SMS and DT priorities with measurable process improvements.
• Oversee architectures, documentation, and requirements for secure interactions between people, processes and technologies.
• Drive standardization through automation, configuration management, orchestration, and policy-driven tools; coordinate with DT, GSS Cyber, product teams, and partners to support RMF/NIST controls.
