Job summary

OpenAI is seeking a Hardware Platform Security Architect to own hardware platform security across silicon design, firmware, and system integration. The role focuses on deploying secure silicon, trusted hardware enclaves, and robust key management.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to co-design secure silicon, secure hardware, and secure systems, deploying TPM2, Secure Boot, and SGX-like technologies at scale.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in hardware security or hardware-software co-design.
• Experience deploying secure hardware systems at scale and integrating secure hardware primitives.
• Strong coding skills in Rust and/or C/C++, with proficiency in Python.

Responsibilities

• Co-Architect Secure Silicon across design, DV, FW and foundries.
• Co-Architect Secure Hardware with hardware vendors and cross-functional teams.
• Co-Architect Secure Systems deploying TPM2, Secure Boot, Nitro Enclaves, and related technologies.
• Drive Innovation by aligning hardware advances with trusted computing requirements.
