Job summary

Anthropic Limited is seeking an Engineering Manager for Hardware Platform Security to lead a team responsible for firmware, OS hardening, and platform trust across Anthropic's compute infrastructure.

You will own the security roadmap, coordinate with silicon vendors and external providers, and ensure secure boot, attestation, and root-of-trust controls end-to-end while maintaining performance for training and inference workloads.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in systems security, with 5+ years in firmware, hardware, or OS security.
• Experience leading security software/firmware teams and roadmaps.
• Ability to review designs and make final security trade-off calls.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the platform security engineering group, including hiring and development
• Own the platform security roadmap and its delivery across hardware and firmware
• Oversee firmware supply chain posture, SBOMs, and authenticated updates
• Drive risk assessments for new compute platforms and providers
• Collaborate with infrastructure, fleet, and compute teams to land controls in production
• Manage relationships with silicon vendors, OEMs, and providers
