Job summary

Army National Guard is seeking a Radio and Communications Security Repairer to maintain secure communication systems. You will install, repair, calibrate, and align equipment and cabling, ensuring reliable, NSA-approved components are used where required.

The role progresses to advanced tasks, including training others, testing complex systems, and maintaining cryptographic security standards during repairs.

Qualifications

• Must meet Army National Guard enlistment requirements.
• High school diploma or GED, or student in good standing.
• Ability to pass a physical exam and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Use test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Install and repair circuits and wiring; calibrate and align components.
• String overhead cables between utility poles and perform preventive maintenance.
• Repair systems, perform equipment tests, and supervise trainee Soldiers when assigned.
