Job summary

DC Army National Guard seeks a Radio and Communications Security Repairer to maintain equipment and systems ensuring secure military communications. The role includes installing and repairing circuits, calibrating components, and stringing overhead cables between utility poles.

Advanced technicians may train and supervise others, test equipment, perform complex repairs, and ensure NSA-approved components are used in secure communications repairs.

Qualifications

• Must enlist in the Army National Guard and meet citizenship requirements.
• Must be between 17 and 35 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must pass a physical exam and meet general standards.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair circuits and wiring; calibrate and align equipment.
• String overhead cables between utility poles; repair systems and perform equipment tests.
• Perform preventive maintenance checks and services on equipment and training others on complex repairs.
