Job summary

DXC Technology Inc. in Arlington, VA is seeking an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer to design, deploy, and secure AI-enabled OCI environments for enterprise workloads. You will work with OCI IAM, VCNs, NSGs, and containerized apps using Docker and Kubernetes.

The role emphasizes DevSecOps, IaC with Terraform, CI/CD, and enforcing least-privilege access across APIs, services, and data sources, while collaborating with cybersecurity teams to meet Federal and DoD requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 5+ years of hands-on cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, DevSecOps, cloud security, or related experience.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) including networking, IAM, security, and cloud-native services.
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking, identity management, least-privilege access, and encryption.
• Experience with Terraform, CI/CD, source control, vulnerability scanning, and security-focused DevSecOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, secure, and maintain AI envs within OCI.
• Adapt containerized apps for secured OCI environments.
• Design secure OCI networking with VCNs, private subnets, NSGs, and private endpoints.
• Implement IAM, authentication, authorization, and enterprise identity-management capabilities.
• Collaborate with developers to meet Federal/DoD security requirements.
• Ensure secure service-to-service communication among web apps, AI services, and databases.
• Deploy and support containers using Docker/Kubernetes/OKE/OCIR.
• Manage access to AI tools, LLMs, APIs, and enterprise services.
• Apply least-privilege, encryption, secrets management, and certificate management.
• Develop IaC using Terraform; integrate with CI/CD and security tooling.
• Configure logging, monitoring, dashboards; work with cybersecurity teams on controls.
