Key Responsibilities
- Support the design, development, and integration of new cloud architectural features within existing cloud infrastructures.
- Assist in maintaining the security, integrity, and performance of enterprise‑wide cloud systems and networks.
- Participate in multi‑disciplinary teams to support the implementation of secure cloud architectures and cybersecurity initiatives.
- Apply cybersecurity standards, directives, and policies within cloud architectural frameworks.
- Assist in compiling industry best practices and lessons learned to support future cloud designs and hosting environments.
- Participate in systems engineering lifecycle activities related to cloud design, development, and deployment.
- Interface with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with enterprise cloud strategy.
- Stay informed about emerging cloud technologies, cybersecurity trends, and industry standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- 0 years of professional experience required (Entry‑level position).
- Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts and cloud architecture.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and cloud security practices.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Exposure to cybersecurity frameworks and standards used in cloud environments.
- Understanding of systems engineering lifecycle concepts.
- Interest or exposure to Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC), DevSecOps, or cloud automation tools.
- Internship, academic projects, or training related to cloud architecture or cybersecurity.
Certifications
- IAT Level II certification required.
- At least one cloud certification required within 6 months of hire (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI preferred).
