Job summary

Vibrint seeks a Network Engineer to configure and sustain Cisco and Arista infrastructure, supporting government and contractor teams across local and remote environments.

Primary site is Columbia, MD, with work at NBP320 and occasional travel to OCONUS locations. This role requires active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph and involves lab testing, field deployments, and modernization toward cloud/containerized environments.

Qualifications

• Experience configuring and sustaining Cisco and Arista network devices.
• Experience troubleshooting network infrastructure and supporting deployment/operations.
• Ability to collaborate with government and contractor teammates.
• Availability to work primarily in Columbia, Maryland, with frequent work at NBP320.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to OCONUS locations and participate in on-call support.
• Current IAT Level I certification.
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.
• Education/experience combinations: 16 years without a degree; BA + 12 years; MS + 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Configure, administer, troubleshoot, and sustain Cisco and Arista network infrastructure.
• Provide ongoing operational support for network devices, firewalls, and cryptographic equipment.
• Configure and test new equipment in the contractor lab before deployment.
• Support on-site and remote fielding of equipment at customer and partner locations.
• Develop and validate configurations for new systems and infrastructure upgrades.
• Help design network architectures and support modernization of legacy environments.
• Support the adoption of containerized and cloud environments as needed for customers.
• Review updates, coordinate priorities with teammates, and resolve Jira tickets.
• Travel occasionally, including OCONUS locations, as needed.
• Participate in on-call support after training and familiarity with the environment.
