Job description

Vibrint transforms national security missions through advanced technology, data, and responsible intelligence solutions. Our teams design, secure, deploy, and sustain critical capabilities that enable faster, more informed mission decisions across some of the nation's most complex operational environments. By joining this prime contract, you'll help modernize and support secure systems, networks, laboratories, and fielded infrastructure serving mission users at customer and remote locations.

As a Network Engineer, you will configure, deploy, and sustain network infrastructure supporting two operational customers. Working alongside government and contractor teammates, you will support Cisco and Arista devices, firewalls, and cryptographic equipment across local and remote environments. You'll combine hands‑on lab work with operational troubleshooting and help design modern network environments as the team transitions from legacy systems toward containerized and cloud technologies where appropriate. Your primary work location will be our contractor facility in Columbia, Maryland, with frequent work at the customer facility in NBP320. You'll also end your day knowing that you're doing work that truly matters.

Position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph (FSP).

Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing operational support for network devices, firewalls, and cryptographic equipment.

  • Configure and test new equipment in the contractor lab before deployment.

  • Support on-site and remote fielding of equipment at customer and partner locations.

  • Develop and validate configurations for new systems and infrastructure upgrades.

  • Help design network architectures and support modernization of legacy environments.

  • Support the adoption of containerized and cloud environments where appropriate for customer requirements.

  • Review operational updates, coordinate priorities with teammates, and resolve Jira tickets.

  • Travel occasionally, as needed, to locations outside the continental United States (OCONUS).

  • Participate in on-call support for operational systems once trained and familiar with the environment.

Qualifications
  • Experience configuring and sustaining Cisco and Arista network devices.

  • Experience troubleshooting network infrastructure and supporting equipment deployment and operations.

  • Ability to collaborate with government and contractor teammates supporting local and remote systems.

  • Willingness and ability to travel occasionally to OCONUS locations and participate in on-call support.

  • A current IAT Level I certification.

  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph level clearance.

  • Candidates must meet one of the following education and experience combinations:

    • A bachelor's degree, plus twelve (12) years of network engineering experience; or

    • A master's degree, plus ten (10) years of network engineering experience.

Desired Skills
  • Experience with Cisco Call Manager.

  • Experience configuring and supporting Cisco ASA firewalls.

  • Experience with network design and architecture.

  • Experience automating repetitive tasks, inventory collection, and compliance activities.
