Job summary

Vibrint seeks a Network Engineer to operate, troubleshoot, and document secure network infrastructure supporting mission systems. You will work across Cisco and Arista platforms, firewalls, and storage-connected infrastructure while using Jira for incidents and changes.

The role requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph and US citizenship, with responsibilities spanning documentation, cross-team coordination, and compliant network operations.

Qualifications

• Experience configuring and sustaining Cisco enterprise network infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco ASA firewalls and Jira-based operational workflows.
• Experience troubleshooting routing, switching, firewall, connectivity.
• Experience creating or updating network drawings using Visio or similar tool.
• Familiarity with Arista, SafeNet, and NetApp technologies.
• Current DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level I certification.
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.
• Education/experience combos as listed in qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Configure, administer, and sustain Cisco and Arista network infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot routing, switching, firewall, connectivity, and performance issues affecting mission systems.
• Support Cisco ASA firewalls and SafeNet or comparable secure communications equipment.
• Work Jira tickets for incidents, service requests, configuration changes, and hardware support.
• Maintain accurate network diagrams, rack layouts, and technical documentation using Visio.
• Coordinate with systems, storage, cybersecurity, and operations teams to resolve cross-domain infrastructure issues.
• Support NetApp-connected infrastructure and related network dependencies.
• Implement approved configuration changes and verify system availability following maintenance.
• Support security compliance, configuration management, and documentation requirements.
• Communicate technical status, risks, and recommended actions to team members and mission stakeholders.
