ADP, Inc. is seeking a .NET Developer – DevSecOps in Herndon, VA to design, develop, and maintain secure backend applications for a mission-critical modernization project.

You will work on backend services using .NET/C#, ASP.NET Core, EF, and SQL Server, delivering REST APIs and microservices within an Agile, secure coding environment. The role involves collaborating with frontend, architecture, testers, cybersecurity, and DevSecOps teams, ensuring automated testing, SAST/DAST, and CI/CD

Qualifications

• 3+ years of .NET/backend development experience.
• Strong experience with C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, and Entity Framework.
• Experience developing and integrating REST APIs and backend services.
• Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server, including queries and data access.
• Proficiency with Visual Studio, Git, debugging, and troubleshooting tools.
• Familiarity with microservices and modern application development practices.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and secure coding practices.
• Experience collaborating in an Agile software development environment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Background Investigation.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using .NET/C#, ASP.NET Core, and EF.
• Develop RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend services.
• Write clean, scalable, efficient code following best practices.
• Design and optimize SQL Server queries and data access components.
• Collaborate with frontend, architecture, testers, and product teams.
• Maintain secure integrations with internal/external systems, incl. cloud services.
• Apply secure coding practices and DevSecOps throughout development.
• Develop and run unit, integration, API, and automated tests.
• Support CI/CD pipelines with GitLab/Jenkins and automated builds/tests.
• Participate in SAST/DAST, dependency scanning, and code reviews.
• Use Visual Studio and Git to troubleshoot backend, DB, API issues.
• Support application development in AWS cloud environments.
• Assist containerized deployment with Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Maintain technical documentation for components, APIs, configurations.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and cross-functional collaboration.
