Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking an IT Communications Integrator for the MTCCS II program.

This temporary role lasts about 20 months and focuses on technical integration between simulation and C4I systems and establishing secure training networks at the Pacific JMSC site. You will lead boundary enclave operations, configure and troubleshoot communications devices, mentor junior staff, coordinate maintenance and security activities, and support audits and vulnerability

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Information Technology or Computer Science or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of related experience; military and MTC experience preferred.
• SEC+ certification required; Network+ or CCNA considered.
• Strong RMF, DISA STIGs, and cybersecurity compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provides senior-level support for design, integration, operation, and sustainment of IT communications and network boundary architectures for large-scale exercises and simulation environments.
• Leads secure connectivity between mission command systems, simulation enclaves, and external networks.
• Serves as technical authority for boundary enclave operations and mentors junior personnel.
• Performs advanced configuration, troubleshooting, documentation, and change execution for communications and boundary systems.
• Provides technical mentorship and guidance by sharing knowledge and problem-solving skills.
• Plans and executes scheduled maintenance, system upgrades, and technology refreshes.
• Supports audits, inspections, and vulnerability remediation activities.
• Maintains awareness of emerging communications and boundary protection technologies.
• May serve as a people manager.
