Job summary

TekSynap is seeking an NMCC Asset Manager in Arlington, VA to oversee end-to-end lifecycle management of thousands of critical IT assets in a secure facility.

You'll support Headquarters Air Force, OSW, and JCS, maintaining asset records, ensuring accuracy, and delivering reports. The role requires TS/SCI eligibility, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work independently under security policies.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with eligibility.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) for large datasets.
• Experience with enterprise ITAM systems (Remedy/ServiceNow).
• Proven IT asset management or inventory control experience.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with SCIF security procedures and handling of classified equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory tracking for 8,000 IT assets using Excel and asset mgmt software.
• Manage stockroom operations: receiving, tagging, secure storage, disposal; heavy data entry with limited scanning in SCIF.
• Generate asset inventory reports for laptops, desktops, printers, and servers.
• Serve as primary contact for asset management with leadership and technical teams.
• Perform regular in-person inventories to ensure 100% accuracy.
• Follow SOPs, training materials, and security policies with minimal supervision.
