Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive HPC systems administration in large-scale Linux environments.
• Experience with HPC schedulers, parallel file systems, configuration management, databases, web services, and high-performance networking.
• Strong background in cybersecurity within regulated environments (healthcare/government).
• Familiarity with NIST SP 800-171/800-53 compliance and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Provide full lifecycle administration of secure HPC infrastructure (compute, storage, networking, services).
• Manage system configuration, authentication, logging, monitoring, and capacity planning.
• Design and enforce secure network architectures and access controls; oversee security hardening and patching.
• Lead incident response and regulatory compliance efforts; coordinate audits and recertification.
• Support researchers with computational, data, and analytics needs; create user-facing docs.
