Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton seeks a technically versatile individual to join a multidisciplinary team evaluating secure DoD systems. You will work with hardware and cybersecurity engineers on tests, documenting findings, and contributing to reports.

The role emphasizes RMF/RTB controls, low-level hardware interactions, secure boot, and virtualization. Applicants should be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree by Summer 2027, possess Linux and virtualization experience, and be able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree; expected by Summer 2027.
• Experience in cybersecurity, hardware, or embedded systems (academic or lab).
• Experience with Linux distributions and basic system administration.
• Experience with virtualization technologies.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals and the OSI model.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with hardware and cybersecurity engineers to evaluate secure DoD systems.
• Support testing against RMF and RTB security controls.
• Document findings and contribute to technical reports.
• Gain hands-on exposure to hardware test environments and automation scripting.
