Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton seeks a seasoned Cybersecurity Software Engineer/ISSE to help secure critical DoD missions through robust security architectures and secure software development practices.

You will implement controls, support RMF processes, and coordinate with ISSM to maintain IATO/ATO readiness while leveraging Fortify, AWS, Docker, and Linux environments for resilient cyber solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a cybersecurity software engineer.
• Experience as an ISSE or in IT/cybersecurity roles.
• Experience with vulnerability scanning and STIGs.
• Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity policies and RMF.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with teams and explain security concepts to diverse audiences.
• Implement cybersecurity controls and improve event correlation in large enterprises.
• Perform risk and vulnerability assessments across networks, systems, and apps.
• Utilize big data analytics to identify threats and indicators of compromise.
