Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Complete document destruction per contract standards.
• Weigh incoming containers.
• Record weight on shred documentation sheet.
• Remove non-shreddable materials (e.g., paper clips, rubber bands).
• Operate shredder and ensure automatic mode.
• Open bottom door; ensure a bag is in the canister.
• Begin shredding; place materials on conveyor belt.
• When bag full light activates, stop shredding and empty bag area.
• Keep work area clean at all times.
• Maintain confidentiality of records and secure area.
• Comply with agency policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
