Job summary

TechDigital Group is looking for a contractor to support the implementation and operationalization of Mayo Clinic's Globus Managed File Transfer (MFT) platform. This role will manage secure, large-scale data transfers while ensuring compliance with security standards like HIPAA and NIST.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of Globus platform experience and strong skills in GCP. Responsibilities include deploying Globus Connect Server and providing operational support to research users.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working with the Globus platform.
• Proficient in GCP, focusing on Compute Engine and Cloud Storage.
• Strong skills in Linux system administration and scripting.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and operationalization of MFT platform.
• Complete deployment and configure workflows for data transfers.
• Provide Tier 1/2 operational support and assist in onboarding users.

Skills

Globus platform experience (GCS v5)

Strong GCP (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage)

Linux system administration and scripting

Understanding of GridFTP

Experience with networking and security principles

Background in MFT or large-scale data transfer
