Job summary

Olgoonik is seeking a Credential Identification Program Specialist I in Washington, DC, to support the Bureau of Diplomatic Security's sensitive ID program. The role reports to the DS ID Media Program Manager and involves administrative and operational tasks related to credential items, inventory, and procedures across security-related processes.

Responsibilities include issuing items, tracking inventories, handling reissuance, coordinating procurement, and producing reports.

Qualifications

• High school education required; a bachelor’s degree may substitute for up to one year of specialized experience.
• Minimum 2 years of general customer service experience.
• Minimum 2 years of clerical or administrative experience.
• Minimum 1 year of inventory control experience.
• Minimum 1 year of audit experience.

Responsibilities

• Produce and issue accountable DS credential identification items for graduates and authorized personnel.
• Track DS credential identification items and inventory using records.
• Process reissuance and memorabilia requests for cancelled items.
• Coordinate reporting and replacement procedures for lost/stolen items.
• Maintain inventory of credential items, badges, and pins.
• Coordinate procurement with program manager, finance, and vendors.
• Prepare weekly activity reports for the DS ID Media Program Manager.
• Produce and maintain program records, reports, and audits.
• Assist in creating SOPs and procedural documents.
• Assist in redesigns/updates of DS identification items.
• Support key control issuance and tracking for State Department facilities.
• Support security systems maintenance and periodic checks of voice logger and other equipment.
• Provide guidance between lock contractor and the Department of State.
