Job summary

CFD Research Corporation in Huntsville, AL is seeking an experienced Network Architect to design and deploy secure, scalable networks across hybrid environments. You will build cloud networking infra (AWS/Azure/GCP), configure secure inter-domain routing, and manage multicast traffic for high-performance applications.

The role requires 5+ years in professional networking, Linux proficiency, and experience with SDN and Kubernetes integration.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical field.
Active DoD Secret clearance is required.
5+ years of professional networking experience, with a focus on cloud and software-defined environments.
Experience designing restricted/compliant networks and securing inter-domain communication.
Hands-on cloud networking with VPCs, VNets, peering, and transit gateways.

Responsibilities

Design and Deploy Secure Networks across cloud and on-premises resources.
Architect and configure restricted networks and secure inter-domain routes.
Build and manage cloud networking infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Configure and troubleshoot multicast UDP and broadcast UDP traffic for high-throughput apps.
Deploy and maintain SDN platforms and hardware networking appliances.
Integrate network services with Kubernetes using CNI plugins.
