Job summary

Rackner in Charlottesville, Virginia is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Support Engineer. This role involves maintaining cloud systems' availability, security, and performance, offering hands-on ownership across AWS, Linux, Windows, and Kubernetes.

You will monitor systems, resolve service requests, and automate operational processes. This position supports mission-critical environments and requires an active Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years supporting AWS and container technologies.
• 3+ years working with Linux operating systems and command-line interfaces.
• 3+ years administering Windows environments and Active Directory.
• Ability to obtain Security+ and AWS certification within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Monitor secure cloud and enterprise environments.
• Resolve Tier 1–3 service requests.
• Provision tenant VPCs, roles, permissions, and access.
• Administer Linux and Windows systems.
• Maintain AWS services and Kubernetes platforms.
• Automate infrastructure processes using Bash and Terraform.
• Troubleshoot network, platform, and system issues.
