Job summary

Peregrine Advisors seeks engineers to build and operate secure delivery pipelines moving federal systems from commit to production with automated health checks and rollbacks. You’ll write AWS infrastructure-as-code, containerize services, and implement monitoring, logging, and vulnerability scanning to create a verifiable security fabric.

This hybrid Washington, DC role requires clear communication, reliable automation, and a readiness to own outcomes across the stack.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of software development, platform, or operations engineering experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Scripting ability (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
• Working knowledge of CI/CD concepts with hands-on experience in at least one pipeline tool.
• Familiarity with AWS and containerization.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (CloudFormation or Terraform).

Responsibilities

• Build and operate secure delivery pipelines for federal systems.
• Write infrastructure-as-code on AWS.
• Containerize services and keep images patched, scanned, and small.
• Wire up monitoring, logging, and vulnerability scanning.
• Help assemble security evidence for Authority to Operate (ATO).
