US Tech Solutions in Arlington, VA is seeking a skilled Platform Engineer specializing in secure cloud infrastructure for federal and DoD environments. The role merges cloud engineering, application security, containerization, networking, IAM, and DevSecOps to enable secure AI applications.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship with an active Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 years of hands-on cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, DevSecOps, cloud security, or related engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) including networking, IAM, storage, security, logging, monitoring, and cloud-native services.
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking (VCNs/VPCs, subnets, DNS, security groups).
• Experience deploying containerized apps with Docker and Kubernetes/OKE.
• Experience with Terraform or another Infrastructure as Code tool.
• Experience with CI/CD, source control, vulnerability scanning, logging, monitoring, and modern DevSecOps practices.
• Strong troubleshooting across application, cloud, container, networking, IAM, and integration layers.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and secure AI application environments inside OCI.
• Adapt containerized apps for secured OCI deployments.
• Design secure OCI networking including VCNs, private subnets, and NSGs.
• Implement identity, authentication, and authorization with OCI IAM.
• Ensure secure service-to-service communication among apps and databases.
• Deploy and support containers using Docker, Kubernetes/OKE, OCIR.
• Develop IaC with Terraform to create auditable cloud environments.
• Integrate deployment with CI/CD, version control, and security scans.
