Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a software engineer to design secure, scalable services for AI agent identity and secrets management. You will own authentication flows, real-time access policies, and build distributed systems using Go and Python.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience.
• Proficient in Go and Python.
• Experience designing secure authentication flows and access controls.
• Experience building foundational platforms from scratch.
• Experience with AI agents or modern AI ecosystems.
• Familiarity with ephemeral access control, zero-trust architectures, and secrets management.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and development of secure, scalable services for AI agent identity and secrets management.
• Manage agent authentication flows and real-time access policies.
• Lead the evolution of MCPs and agentic AI, transforming ideas into scalable systems.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to shape high-performance platform components.
• Write clean, maintainable code that protects critical systems and data.
• Drive cross-functional efforts with AI and security teams to gather requirements and influence design.
