About The Role

As a CBRE Sector Lead - Sr Finance Director, you will be responsible for developing and managing all departmental finance functions. This role is part of the Financial Strategy and Operations function, responsible for maintaining accounting, financial, and reporting policies and controls.

What You'll Do
  • Provide formal supervision to employees, track training and development, conduct performance evaluations, and oversee recruiting and hiring.
  • Coordinate and manage daily team activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff.
  • Set and track deadlines, mentor, and coach staff as needed.
  • Plan, approve, and execute budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and reporting processes.
  • Assist executive management in setting business direction.
  • Establish departmental priorities, develop financial policies and procedures.
  • Support initiatives within the business as the point of contact for the Operations team.
  • Review and approve capex projects within company guidelines.
  • Apply deep knowledge across disciplines and drive performance across the business.
  • Lead by example, model behaviors aligned with CBRE RISE values, and negotiate with stakeholders.
  • Conceptualize new methods, techniques, and standards.
  • Resolve complex business problems using advanced critical thinking.
  • Global experience is required.
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, with 12-15 years of relevant experience; equivalent experience and education considered.
  • Experience in staffing, training, development, coaching, and performance management is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate sensitive and complex information effectively.
  • Leadership skills to motivate teams across multiple disciplines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Strong organizational and mathematical skills, capable of handling complex financial calculations.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
