Primary Responsibilities

1. Leadership role within the Optum Insight Provider Business Finance team
2. Support the Northeast Provider Market to drive profitable growth, be an advocate for the business in the highly matrixed Optum Insight organization, partner with the business to identify growth and profitability levers
3. Provide financial leadership supporting some of our largest and most strategic outsourcing partnerships
4. Review and approve pricing for deals, be a thought leader to drive growth and increased profitability
5. Manage and approve headcount, ensuring staffing is appropriate to meet external and internal commitments
6. Continue the development of analytical insights and impactful reporting and dashboards to provide greater meaning to financial results
7. Provide business insights and messaging that can help drive meaningful change
8. Engage on end-to-end process improvements to drive accurate projections by being the face of the finance team within the market
9. Assist with new MPP client onboarding and ensure a smooth transition from solution design

Required Qualifications

1. Undergraduate degree in finance or equivalent field
2. 8+ years finance experience
3. 5+ years of managerial experience
4. Budgeting and forecasting experience
5. Proven executive communication and presentation skills

1. Experience in fast-paced organizations
2. Essbase experience
3. Proven adaptable, energetic, and strategic
4. Proven analytical, quantitative, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
5. Proven self-motivated to work independently and also be a team player

The salary range for this role is $124,500 to $239,400 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
