The Sioux City Symphony Orchestra is seeking a tenure-track violist for its 2026-27 season. The appointment includes compensation of $104.16 per service plus a lodging stipend up to $85 per night and travel reimbursement at $0.37 per mile for trips over 16 miles, capped at 600 miles round trip. Auditions are Sept 16–17, 2026 at the Orpheum Theatre in Sioux City.

Thirty-four services are tentatively scheduled for the season. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States.

The Sioux City Symphony Orchestra is offering a tenure track position for a violist, with a current compensation of $104.16 per service. Additional benefits include a lodging stipend of up to $85.00 per night and travel reimbursement of $0.37 per mile for trips exceeding 16 miles, capped at 600 miles round trip. There are 34 services tentatively scheduled for the 2026-2027 season. Auditions are set for September 16 and 17, 2026, starting at 9:00 a.m. Auditions will take place at the Orpheum Theatre in Sioux City. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States.
