The Sioux City Symphony Orchestra is offering a tenure track position for a Double Bass player, with 34 services tentatively scheduled for the 2026-2027 season. The position includes a compensation of $104.16 per service, along with a lodging stipend of up to $85.00 per night and travel reimbursement of $0.37 per mile for distances exceeding 16 miles, capped at 600 miles per round trip.Auditions are set to take place on September 16 and 17, 2026, starting at 9:00 a.m. Interested musicians are required to submit a one-page resume along with a refundable deposit of $50, which will be returned on the audition day.
