Murphy is recruiting for a Section Engineer to work on Energy projects from Norwich to Tilbury. The role focuses on resolving technical problems, inspections, survey data creation, and ensuring contractual compliance while supporting KPI updates.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree and has prior section or site engineering experience on construction projects. Proficiency in surveying techniques and adherence to quality, safety, and environment standards are essential.

Competenze

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Experience as a Section or Site Engineer on construction projects.
• Experience with surveying and setting out techniques.
• Knowledge of Quality, Safety, Environmental and Sustainability requirements.

Mansioni

• Resolve technical problems at all levels on site.
• Carry out inspections per the Inspection and Test Plan.
• Produce survey information and red-lined drawings for As-built records.
• Ensure equipment is calibrated and in date per policy.
• Ensure construction works comply with contract requirements and procedures.
• Provide clear and accurate information to site staff.
• Supervise outputs and ensure environmental requirements are met.
• Verify materials on site are suitable and properly stored.
• Assist the Site Management team with KPI updates and progress reports.
