Job summary

Murphy is recruiting for a Construction Manager to work with Energy on GGP projects, including Norwich to Tilbury assignments. You will lead construction teams, coordinate constructability input, and allocate skilled staff to critical projects to meet schedules and budgets.

You will liaise closely with Project Managers to ensure an appropriate resource mix and oversee subcontractor performance, safety, and quality across construction and handover phases.

Qualifications

• Experience leading construction teams on large energy projects.
• Strong stakeholder management with clients and subcontractors.
• Ability to allocate resources and manage schedules and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project teams during construction and installation.
• Coordinate constructability input during solution development.
• Allocate construction staff by project based on skills and experience.
• Coordinate with Project Managers to maintain appropriate resource pools.
• Manage construction resources including labour, plant and materials.
• Oversee performance of subcontractors and adherence to schedules.
