Job summary

WB Residential Communities, Inc. is seeking an Affordable Housing Compliance Manager with Section 8, LIHTC, and HOME experience. The role focuses on completing lease-ups, handling re-rentals and recertifications, and interpreting complex housing program rules.

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of independent work with guidance. Responsibilities include reviewing regulations, auditing files, performing EIV reporting, coordinating with PHAs, and ensuring timely,

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ experience auditing Section 8/LIHTC/HOME files
• Experience reviewing regulatory agreements and program manuals
• Ability to travel within Westchester County and nearby areas
• Proficiency with housing software such as Yardi or RealPage

Responsibilities

• Conduct applicant outreach screening following lotteries to predetermine eligibility with housing program requirements
• Assist residents as needed
• Run monthly and quarterly EIV reports and address EIV discrepancies
• Enter into repayment agreements for Project Based Section 8 sites
• Update waiting lists and maintain accurate notes
• Verify, calculate, and implement incomes and assets for tenant eligibility
• Prepare initial Tenant Certifications and submit vouchers to PHAs
• Track work status meticulously and coordinate move-in dates and lease signings
• Provide on-site training and support on Section 8, LIHTC, HOME requirements
