Job description

Immediate need for a talented Secretary & Billing Specialist. This is a 06+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Philadelphia, PA (Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range : $22 - $23 / hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities :

  • Administrative Duties :
  • Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a professional manner.
  • Maintain and organize client records, contracts, and job orders.
  • Assist with ordering supplies and coordinating with vendors.
  • Prepare reports and keep track of project progress.
  • Billing & Financial Responsibilities :
  • Generate and send invoices to clients.
  • Process payments and follow up on outstanding balances.
  • Maintain accurate records of expenses, invoices, and financial transactions.
  • Work with accounting software to track payments and update accounts.
  • Communicate with clients regarding billing inquiries and payment schedules.
  • Customer Service & Communication :
  • Greet clients and assist with inquiries.
  • Provide updates on project timelines and billing status.
  • Handle complaints and escalate issues as necessary.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience :

  • Key Skills : Billing Specialist ,Expenses ,Invoices.
  • Prior experience in administrative or billing roles (experience in construction or painting industry preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and billing software.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
