Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Integration Engineer, API Gateway to support a DoD modernization program that unifies access across a portfolio of production applications with one sign-on, one work surface, and a repeatable pattern for onboarding applications to a shared platform.

The role requires 4+ years in integration engineering with REST, OpenAPI-first design, and API gateways, plus experience with Envoy and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in integration engineering with REST, OpenAPI-first design, and API gateways.
• Experience with Envoy and Kubernetes.
• Must have an Interim Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Publish OpenAPI contracts at the platform gateway (Envoy) in front of existing integration services; implement correlation identifiers, idempotency, and acknowledgments.
• Document data flows used in the technical baseline and authorization package.

We are seeking a Integration Engineer, API Gateway to support a mission-application modernization program that unifies access across a portfolio of production applications: one sign-on, one work surface, and a repeatable pattern for onboarding applications to a shared platform, while the existing applications continue to run and are sustained by the same team, for a Department of War (DoW) customer.

• Integration engineering-Publish OpenAPI contracts at the platform gateway (Envoy) in front of existing integration services; implement correlation identifiers, idempotency, and acknowledgments.
• Document data flows used in the technical baseline and authorization package.

Skills and Requirements

• Minimum Interim Secret Clearance
• 4+ years in integration engineering with REST, OpenAPI-first design, and API gateways.
• Experience with Envoy; Kubernetes.
