SAIC in Huntsville, AL is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer/Cybersecurity Team Lead to head cybersecurity engineering, RMF/ATO management, and security authorization for a DoD-focused DevSecOps platform in Huntsville.

You will lead security assessments, eMASS documentation, and secure architectures across classified and unclassified environments, coordinating with ISSMs, ISSOs, and program leadership.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of cybersecurity engineering, information assurance, cloud security, or platform security.
• Additional 6 years of experience may substitute the degree; additional certifications may substitute experience.
• Active interim secret clearance with ability to obtain secret; US citizenship required.

Mansioni

• Lead cybersecurity team activities, set priorities, coordinate deliverables with government stakeholders and program leadership.
• Develop and maintain DoD RMF and ATO packages, security assessments, continuous monitoring, and authorization updates.
• Manage eMASS documentation: SSPs, control statements, POA&Ms, and other artifacts.
• Design and maintain secure DevSecOps architectures for classified/unclassified environments with Zero Trust principles.
• Secure CI/CD pipelines with automated scanning, SBOMs, and policy-as-code for compliance.
• Lead vulnerability management using ACAS/Nessus; coordinate remediation and incident response.
• Evaluate emerging tech (AI platforms, automation) for DoD security alignment.
• Collaborate with DevOps, engineering, and infra teams to address risks and maintain authorization readiness.
• Support security requirements for air-gapped environments and secure interface between environments.
