Job summary

SAIC seeks an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer/Cybersecurity Team Lead in Huntsville, AL to lead cybersecurity engineering, RMF/ATO management, and eMASS documentation for DoD programs. You will design secure DevSecOps architectures across classified and unclassified environments, applying NIST 800-53, DISA STIGs, and Zero Trust principles, while coordinating with government stakeholders.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on security engineering, and the ability to communicate risks

Qualifications

• Experience leading cybersecurity teams for DoD programs and coordinating with government stakeholders.
• Hands-on DoD RMF/ATO package development and eMASS documentation management.
• Strong knowledge of NIST 800-53, DISA STIGs, SSPs, POA&Ms, and continuous monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity team activities, establish priorities, and coordinate security deliverables for government stakeholders.
• Develop, maintain, and coordinate RMF/ATO packages, including SSPs and POA&Ms.
• Manage eMASS documentation and authorization artifacts (SSPs, control implementations).
• Design and secure DevSecOps architectures across cloud, hybrid, and containerized environments.
• Secure CI/CD pipelines with automated security scanning and policy-as-code.
• Oversee vulnerability management with ACAS/Nessus and SBOM tooling; drive remediation.
