Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Test Technician based in Elkridge, MD, to join the Life Cycle Sustainment Organization Team. The role focuses on installing, calibrating, and maintaining electronic equipment, analyzing tests, and supporting customers and managers throughout project lifecycles.

Preferred candidates hold a STEM degree and have field service or government-cleared work experience. A comprehensive benefits package and career growth opportunities are included.

Qualifications

• Experience in electronic or technical field required or 4+ years with HS diploma
• Experience with computers, test applications, PC maintenance and TCP/IP networks
• Experience reading engineering drawings and schematics
• Current/Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance or higher is required
• U.S. citizenship is required

Responsibilities

• Conducts technical analysis of product implementations, modifications, and enhancements per customer specs
• Install, calibrate, and maintain electronic communication equipment at customer sites
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems remotely and in the field
• Communicate with customers, Program Managers, and executives
• Construct, test, operate, analyze, and modify complex systems
• Develop methods to monitor tests on a systems level
• Work with engineers on design problems to improve performance
