Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Test Technician for the Life Cycle Sustainment Organization based in Elkridge, MD. You will conduct tests on complex systems, calibrate electronic equipment, and troubleshoot field issues while coordinating with Program Managers and customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 4 years of technical experience or an Associate’s Degree with 2 years of experience.
• Experience with computers, test applications and PC maintenance; familiarity with TCP/IP or similar protocols.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and schematics; troubleshoot to component level.
• Experience with networks and computer system administration; proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lift and work in varied environments; valid driver’s license; U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical analysis of product implementations and modifications per customer specs.
• Install, calibrate, and maintain electronic equipment at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot problems remotely and on-site; suggest corrective actions.
• Communicate with customers, program managers, and executives.
• Develop and modify test setups; document procedures and test results.
• Perform complete mechanical assembly and fitting per drawings.
• Provide guidance and training to lower classified personnel and customers.
