Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks a Test Technician in Elkridge, MD to perform technical analysis, install and calibrate electronic equipment, and troubleshoot complex systems at customer sites. You will create test procedures and support documentation while collaborating with program managers and engineers.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED with 4 years in electronics or an Associate's Degree with 2 years, plus the ability to obtain a U.S.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 4 years in electronic/technical field or Associate's Degree with 2 years in electronic/technical field.
• Experience with computers, test apps, PC maintenance, networks, TCP/IP or similar protocols.
• Experience reading engineering drawings and schematics; proven troubleshooting to component level.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and standard hand tools; ability to work in varied environments.

Responsibilities

• Conducts technical analysis of product implementations per customer specifications.
• Install, calibrate, and maintain electronic communication equipment at customer sites.
• Troubleshoots issues remotely and in field environments; recommend corrective action.
• Communicates with customers, PMs, and executives; develops test setups and specimens.
